Applying makeup

*Determine the type of skin you have:oily, combination or dry skin
*Start with a clean face:Get a facial or do one yourself. You want your face to be a clear and smooth canvas for you to apply your makeup.Use antibacterial soap if you have acne.
*Use a light moisturizer no matter your skin type:This will help oily skin to get dry and dry skin will become smoother.Wait a few minutes for it to be fully absorbed into your skin.
*Apply foundation primer:this will make all other makeup application easier & make your makeup stay longer.
*Apply a foundation that matches your skin tone:no one wants to look caked.
*Conceal any discoloration:Do this after applying foundation, so you don't use too much. First apply the concealer, then pat very lightly with your finger to blend. Only apply concealer to the area that you want to conceal. Afterward, use the wedge to blend the concealer in with the foundation.
*Follow with your loose powder:Lightly brush across the whole face.
*Smile & blush up:apply to the apple of the cheeks. If you added too much color to your cheeks, use the clear side of your wedge to blend it in more until the color is faded out.Your cheeks should have a touch of color. You don't want to look like a clown!
*Contour your face: especially if you have hidden cheek bones.Don't make it too obvious as it's meant to look like a shadow.
*And blend together:so nothing stands out.
*Line out:get your brows filled(check my previous post).
*Apply your eyeshadow:.{tips on eyeshadow application will be posted soon} start small as its easy to build up than to clean.
*Prime your lips:this will help make all lip products applied stay longer.
*Lip gloss & stick:Blot your freshly painted lips lightly with a tissue. This will make it last longer.Blot your freshly painted lips lightly with a tissue. This will make it last longer.
**And lastly don't forget to keep your pressed powder in your purse for touch ups.
